Nikola Jokic, a prolific Serbian professional basketball player, was born to Branislav Jokic and Nikolina Jokic on 19th February 1995. He is from Sombor, Serbia, FR Yugoslavia. He is also known as ‘the Joker’. Jokic showed his promise to become a great sportsperson when he was just a teen, he played for Mega Basket in the Adriatic Basket Basketball Association. Now he plays for the Denver Nuggets. He won the NBA Most Valuable Player Award for the 2020 – 21 and 2021 – 22 seasons. He also won a silver medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics for representing the Serbian National team.
